We explore how your body has been feeling, where tension may be present and what may be asking for attention.
Muscle testing is used as part of the assessment process to identify areas of stress, imbalance and patterns the body may still be holding.
Depending on your needs, supportive methods such as emotional integration, subconscious techniques, energy based approaches and nervous system regulation may also be gently incorporated.

Let's speak about the bodywork technique used
B3 (Brain.Body.Balance) is a hands on technique that targets muscular imbalances by working on myofascial lines in the body.
B3 can be applied to people of all ages and physiques. It is ideal for those who experience repetitive strain, bad posture, injuries, or general pain and muscle tension.
The B³ technique may assist in restoring the myofascial tissue (connective tissue) to its optimal length and health.
A muscle’s functional length can be restricted by tight fascia or neuromuscular blockages: reducing its strength, contractile potential and deceleration capacity because it is already resting in a slightly contracted or shortened state.
B3 facilitates a positive change in the state of muscle compression by delivering a manually applied signal pulse into the myofascia. This signal stimulates a reciprocal feedback to the brain, which encourages the muscles and fascia to re-set to their original length. This restoration of myofacial tissue can reduce the pressure exerted onto the pain-sensitive structures (such as nerves and blood vessels), correct body alignment and improve mobility to the joints.
Our perception can render us oblivious to incorrect body posture and mobility patterns and its potentially harmful long-term effects. As long as our body seems to be functioning we do not realise underlying stress factors. We only become aware of such ‘blockages’ once the resulting pain surfaces and we react to feelings of reduced wellness.
Everyday activities that strain our bodies may lead to muscle and postural strain. For example:

The Elderly
The Brain.Body.Balance. technique can be effective in the later stages of life as it may assist in relieving pain and changing physical limitations. Many symptoms that are attributed to aging are fundamentally due to postural discrepancies. By releasing muscle blockages, the pressure that is exerted onto the joints can be reduced and allow for less restrained movement. Hence, B3 has an effect which is not only preventative but also rehabilitative in the cases of arthritis, degeneration of intervertebral discs and limitations in range of movement. Regular treatments are recommended to sustain long-term balance and prevent pain.
Pregnancy & Children
The technique can be supportive both before and after birth. Specifically in children, improvement and changes are usually seen much sooner than in adults.
